These are yellow/green uranium glass, faceted, average 3mm round in size, with Foil Backs.
These were made in the 1950’s and fluoresce under UV light (black light). These are over 70 years old!{vintage}
Uranium glass glows bight yellow-green under black light and was made by adding min-ute amounts of uranium (in oxide diuranate form) to the glass mix before melting to achieve a certain green or yellow color.
The amount of uranium used in glass making like this is so minimal that its considered absolutely SAFE. in fact dishes were made from this type of class for many years and are quite valuable now.
